Welcome, my name is Danny Taylor and I am a PGA Golf Professional. I was born in 1973 in Stafford and I first started playing golf at the age of 6 in and around Porthmadog. At 12 my brother and I became members at Bloxwich, along with our parents.

At 16 I was playing with a 4 handicap and I began playing for Staffordshire with David Lynn and I also played against the likes of David Park (European Tour), Michael Welch, Steve Webster and Scott Drummond. Shortly after, I then became an assistant professional at Shifnal GC working for Justin Flanagan. This is where I had the chance to first play with Peter Baker and Paul Broadhurst which was an amazing experience and it really opened my eyes. After playing some golf with Peter I asked him who helped him with his game, to which he told me it was a guy in Leeds that goes by the Name of Dennis Sheehy. Since then Dennis has been one of my closest friends for the past 20 years !! Whilst working with Dennis I have met many people like Lee Sharp and Sir John Charles, Phillip Price and the one and only Severiano Ballesteros!

Not only have I worked alongside Dennis but also picked his brains for 20 years as he has worked with MANY of the top touring Professionals.

I then started teaching at Swingers Golf Centre in Lichfield where I worked along side Robert Rock, both teaching and playing until Robert gained his tour card.

I still play Professionally and have had many tournament wins, which also includes playing in the PGA Cup in 2007 ( my favorite) at Reynolds Plantation Georgia USA and playing for England in the European team championships at Rhoda Golf Club in Spain. I am currently married to my first wife (haha) Samantha and have 2 children Georgia 10 Connie 7.

My interests are my family and golf. I still play tournament golf mainly around the Midlands with great success.

These days, I teach golfers of all abilities from beginners to professionals which I gain great pleasure from.
